Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of OhMyVoice ("the Software"), provided by an independent developer ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.

1. License Grant

Upon purchase, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, perpetual license to install and use OhMyVoice on up to two (2) devices that you own or control. This is a lifetime license — you pay once and receive all future updates at no additional cost.

2. One-Time Purchase & Device Activations

OhMyVoice is sold as a one-time purchase at $20 USD. Your license permits activation on up to 2 devices simultaneously. A 14-day free trial is available before purchase — no credit card required for the trial. If you require more than 2 device activations, please contact us at contact@ohmyvoice.xyz.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing your own API keys when using cloud-based speech-to-text (STT) providers (e.g., OpenAI, Deepgram, Google Cloud). We do not supply or manage third-party API credentials.
• Complying with the terms of service of any third-party STT or LLM provider you connect to OhMyVoice.
• Maintaining the security of your license key and device activations.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share your license key.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except as permitted by applicable law.
• Use the Software for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent the license activation or device limit system.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SOFTWARE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE ($20 USD). IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If you have any concerns, please reach out to us at contact@ohmyvoice.xyz before pursuing formal legal proceedings.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the website at ohmyvoice.xyz. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
